ucla isap Postdoctoral Research Fellowship

University of California-Los Angeles: The
UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs (ISAP) invites applications
for Postdoctoral Research Fellowships sponsored by the National
Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). UCLA ISAP is located in the
Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and includes
nationally recognized substance abuse scholars in epidemiology,
psychology, public health, sociology, neuroscience, pharmacotherapy,
program evaluation, and social policy. The Integrated Substance
Abuse Programs offers a wide array of education, research, publication,
and funding opportunities in virtually all aspects of substance
abuse research.
Current openings are available with nationally renowned researchers
emphasizing addiction research in clinical trials, policy, epidemiology,
criminal justice, HIV, longitudinal research, and research involving
gender, sexual orientation, and culture. Eligible candidates
must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have completed
a doctoral degree in medicine, psychology, sociology, anthropology,
public health, social welfare, nursing or related field. Stipend
levels are commensurate with National Institutes of Health Research
Service Awards (PGY1 to PGY7). Health insurance and allowances
for travel and supplies for research projects are also included.
